New Anti-Comment Spam Measures

Many people are starting to experience either comment or referral spam to their websites.

You’ve probably noticed this if you’ve checked your weblog and seen nonsensical comments pointing back to a viagra site, or checked your “Referring URLs” report in control to see links back to a site having to do with Texas Hold ‘Em.

I’ve put measures in place on the server that will start automatically blocking these sites for you, to keep your weblog clean, your bandwidth low, and your stats useful. If you run across anything that you think might be this sort of spam, let us know and we’ll block it.
